Centrally located in Nashville’s “SoBro” downtown district, a half block south of the Music City Center, the newly opened Margaritaville Hotel Nashville brings an entirely unique concept to the heart of Music City with a “no worries” tropical atmosphere that is experienced immediately upon arrival.
Throughout the property, guest and locals alike will notice and appreciate the ode to the classic ‘Jimmy Buffett’ vibe, but with a totally elevated flair. Crisp white shiplap line the walls, interesting and alluring art installations like a fleet of birds flying overhead, a custom built chandelier made entirely of upside down margarita glasses and perfectly cozy wicker furniture are just a few of the whimsical elements of the property.
And now open are two first-ever Margaritaville dining Concepts – FINS bars and JWB Grill. Fins bar offers a laid-back rooftop space dotted with fire pits and skyline views of Nashville for year-round socializing. Signature restaurant, JWB Grille takes the stage offering a contemporary menu showcasing approachable fare with an elevated twist. Located on the main floor just past the lobby, JWB Grill is the perfect destination for upscale downtown dining with a relaxed and elevated atmosphere.
Open for lunch and dinner, favorites on the menu include the JWB ceviche with Peruvian corn, cilantro, sweet potato, Aji Amarillo; grilled octopus with sun choke purée; Wagyu steak tartare with mustard seeds, capers, crème fraiche, and quail egg; beet salad with house greens, goat cheese, blood orange, caramelized walnuts and vinaigrette; pork au poivre featuring Iberico pork tenderloin, garlic parmesan French fries and more. Also find delectable desserts such as key lime pie, world-class wines and tropical hand-crafted cocktails.
It’s five o’clock somewhere and must-try cocktails on the menu, which are inspired by both the tropical islands and Nashville, including the Making Waves cocktail featuring RumHaven coconut rum, vanilla syrup, pineapple and lime juices or the Honkey Tonk Angels cocktail featuring Buffalo Trace bourbon, green chartreuse, lime juice, pineapple purée and angostura bitters.
Helming the kitchen of JWB Grill is Executive Chef Fernando Ortiz who brings his creative culinary expertise to the menus, weaving in unique ingredients and flavors wherever possible. With previous international culinary experience working throughout renowned restaurants in Venezuela to Miami Beach, he brings an exciting twist to the elevated menu. Previous to JWB Grill, Chef Fernando has experience helming the kitchens of The Setai Hotel, Miami Beach; The Ritz Carlton, Key Biscayne; among other restaurants in Venezuela in Florida. His talent is unsurpassed with experience learning beside French chef Eric Ripert at 3 Michelin star restaurant, Le Bernardin in New York City; and beside 2 Michelin star chef Sean Hergat at the Setai Hotel in Miami. Outside of cooking, his passion for travel has led him to Brazil, Bolivia, Argentina, Columbia and Peru where he lived for three months to explore the flavors and cooking techniques in South America. Time in New Delhi, India, Hong Kong and Bangkok, Thailand has also inspired his outlook on cuisine.
While a vacation-like atmosphere is always present, being on vacation isn’t required to come and enjoy the newest Margaritaville Hotel location. Perfect for a business lunch or celebratory birthday dinner – a fresh cocktail and beautiful entrée is awaiting.
