Dec 07, 2017

Meetings & Conventions - Work on a new Margaritaville hotel is officially underway up in Nashville according to developer Safe Harbor Developers, which announced today that a groundbreaking ceremony for the new property took place last week.

Located in Nashville's thriving "SoBro" district, Margaritaville Nashville Hotel will have 217 guest rooms across 12 stories. Inspired by the lyrics and lifestyle of singer, songwriter, and author Jimmy Buffett, the hotel will also have 10,000 square feet of function space, a fitness center, an onsite Starbucks, a full-service restaurant and a rooftop relaxation and entertainment area featuring a pool, sun deck, fire pits, bar and live entertainment.

Opening in summer 2019, the property will also have 52 timeshare units under the Margaritaville Vacation Club by Wyndham flag.

"The groundbreaking of Margaritaville Nashville Hotel marks the arrival of an entirely unique vvacation concept area, combining a metropolitan latitude with Margaritaville's island attitude," said Darby Campbell, owner and president of Safe Harbor Development. "We couldn't be happier to be on our way to welcoming visitors at what will be a true urban escape in the heart of Music City."
